About Sarah BA (Hons)
Sarah Watson explores the beauty and dynamism of the natural landscape, travelling to the most stunning and diverse areas of the UK to paint. Closer to home she is particularly in thrall to the constantly changing colours and patterns in the crop fields and the endlessly changing drama in the clouds of Lincolnshire’s enormous skies. She has exhibited in one woman shows in Grantham, London and the Lake District, and been represented at the prestigious Fletcher Gate Art Gallery in Nottingham and Gallery6 in Newark.
She featured on the Sky Arts Landscape Artist Of The Year in 2016, and was accepted for membership of the exclusive Lincolnshire Artists’ Society who used one of her paintings as the poster for this year’s Art In The Barn group show at Doddington Hall.

From the welcome to the end of the day a lovely atmosphere of fun and collabaration. Clear, helpful advice and instruction. As new medium to me I will be continuing my journey in oil.
The lunch was great too. I cannot think of any better way to spend a day. Sara you are an inspiration to paint.
Many thanks to all the team.
Sara guided us through all the stages of painting a picture. I had never used oils before. I surprised myself at what I was able to produce. Sara got the right balance between teaching us lots of useful tips and getting us started and encouraging our own creativity. It was a really inspiring and relaxing day in beautiful surroundings and the lunches, coffee and cake were great too.
