Enjoy a calming Sunday morning learning the basics of modern calligraphy with a dip pen and ink (with a festive theme) at this class for beginners in Wells, Somerset. At this relaxing calligraphy class, you’ll learn about the key materials and skills needed to create beautiful hand lettering. After learning how the pointed pen works, you’ll practice making the fundamental strokes and then use them to form letters and words in a modern calligraphy style. You’ll also make some gift tags to take home featuring your beautiful lettering! Demonstrations are projected onto a screen so you can see everything in up close detail as well as receiving plenty of individual tuition. This workshops’ ideal if you want to create your own cards, wedding stationery or hand-lettered home décor, or are looking for a creative and relaxing hobby.
