Modern calligraphy is a fresh, new style that brings a flexibility and uniqueness that is both appealing and accessible. You will have seen this on trend script everywhere and the beauty of learning this style is that it is easy to master and personalise, making it unique to you.
Where the more traditional ‘Round Hand’ style dictates form and function, modern calligraphy lends itself to a more fluid, closer-to-your-handwriting approach.
Our workshops are light-hearted, fun and aimed to give a taster of the basic skills needed to produce this very popular beautiful script. Ideal for all those personal touches to your crafted cards or for generating your own unique designs.

Everything is provided for the class including a basic nib holder and fine point pen nib (perfect for right or left handers), practice lines, letters and paper (all yours to keep) along with Jane’s years of knowledge and information on this historic skill.
