These workshops are very special. The small numbers mean you get lots of attention and guidance and still make new friends.
Always a maximum of 4 people. In addition to the workshops planned below it is perfectly possible to structure a workshop around your own requirements.
Get together with a few friends and create a totally bespoke package, Be tempted by the workshops on my website - click through via the link above - or work with me to create something different. Each workshop will cover a specified skill or project. Contact me to check which workshop will run on which date.
Workshops for the coming year will cover the following:
Squaring the Circle – Adventures in Curved Piecing
Curved piecing is often viewed as scary stuff! Join me to try different ways of creating the basic Drunkard’s Path Block, and then use your preferred method to create a small wallhanging. You will try the traditional method using templates as well as a fun technique that uses neither templates nor rulers!
Charles Rennie Mackintosh meets Ricky Tims
This fabulous little wall hanging is inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh flowers and Ricky Tims' Tulips for Chantelle (There’s a fab story in there – I’ll tell it over coffee) Improvisational piecing. No rulers were harmed in the making of this piece!

A fabulous day constructing stars and half square triangle blocks for the surrounds. I had never used triangles before and hoped to come away from the two days a better cutter and more accurate pieces. I certainly felt that I had achieved that along with a stash of cut pieces and constructed blocks ready to be worked into a quilt top. ( I always want to make more than the time on the course allows for!) Sheena is an excellent teacher, generous with her time and support and offers many tips and hints to help us further. I left with a comprehensive set of notes confident that I could complete my rather ambitious project! Thank you Sheena, see you soon.
Clare Baker - - #17052
Thoroughly enjoyed the two day course supported by Sheena's patience and inspiration.
RahatAboobaker - - #15146
I attended the Fibonacci for Quilters recently. Although I am a reasonably experienced sewer, I was a complete novice to quilting. The group was small enough that Sheena was able to give us individual help as needed and by the end of the weekend I had produced something that I will be proud to display!

Response from Green Man Quilts:It was fabulous to have you along for the weekend. You had such fabulous ideas and really worked so amazingly hard. Do send me a photo of it in situ. Well done.
