Description
Join us for a morning of sewing and learn how to make a gorgeous and more importantly really useful bag that is uniquely your own. During this workshop you will learn: - How to set up your sewing machine - How to understand the different qualities of fabric - How to sew and finish seams neatly - How to insert a lining and a pocket - How to add handles securely Our Studio is in a beautiful converted Oast with exposed beams and gentle views across the farmland. Filled with mouth-watering aromas from The Oast Bakery, where Alison prepares our delicious refreshments, this is the perfect place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some creative time for yourself. Our aim is to offer the chance to unwind, learn a new skill and meet like minded people whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake. "What a wonderful day! The Oast Studio is a tranquil haven surrounded by wonderful people and countryside. The food is exquisite, and the teaching is amazing. This is the perfect place for 'me' time, sharing skills, stories, and a huge amount of fun and laughter. This is my tenth visit, and I can't wait to return. Annabelle and Alison are just lovely. They have created something quite unique. I cannot recommend more highly." May 2024
