About the Course
Intermediate leather work course: Develop your leatherwork skills!
Participants will develop their skills learnt on previous courses for working with leather using traditional techniques dating from the dark ages and medieval period as well as the Victorian and more modern styles. New techniques will include dyeing leather and working with fittings such as buckles and rivets. You'll also get to grips with harder leather and the different techniques that it requires. Participants will then use these skills to complete a bespoke project piece using skills learnt on the course. The project piece will be unique to the participant with many options available.
This course is suitable for beginners age 16 +. Please wear comfortable casual clothes with closed toe shoes.
