Traditional Saddle Stitching with Armitage Leather
Description
During this one to one course, a more focused instruction into the Traditional Saddle Stitch will be given. Whilst 8 hours is not enough to cover all of the techniques and processes, you will have sufficient instruction and appreciation of the principals to continue at your own pace. During the course, you will gain an understanding of the tools, techniques and applications used to achieve the saddle stitch. Nigel Armitage is registered with and insured by the Guild of Master Craftsmen along with being an NVQ A1 Assessor, so can assist with your coursework. Even if you are not currently undertaking a formal qualification, this course will get you on the right track to producing that desired slanted saddle stitch which has become the signature of the classic bespoke handmade artist.
