Sally Williams - - #34083

The 6 week beginners course was exactly what I was looking for. I hadn't done any real sewing since school and thought my machine didn't work. My sewing machine did work, it just needed a different needle! I loved that we made a different item each week ( a purse, a bag etc.) and all of the items were useful. Aliss is a knowledgeable and patient tutor. A great beginner's class

Response from The Stitchery Frome:

Thank you Sally, I'm so happy we got your lovely sewing machine working again and you enjoyed making your different items. Hope to see you on the Clothes Making!

Ali Mc - - #33825

Aliss' beginner sewing machine classes were great. She is very patient with total novices and is really knowledgeable and skilled in her craft. Her classes gave me the confidence to use my machine (which I'd never used before) and get into sewing as a hobby. Highly recommended!

Response from The Stitchery Frome:

Thanks Ali for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the course - you made such a massive improvement when you took the time to sew slowly! Hope to see you again in September for Clothes Making!

Learn to sew - - #31538

I really enjoyed this course and found it so satisfying to make items within the time frame that looked good and could be used.

Aliss gave clear instructions and guidance and helped me to understand and use my rather basic sewing machine with a lot more confidence.

I'm really looking forward to doing more courses and expanding my skills and would recommend highly following a course lead by Aliss

Heather Mahany - - #31524

Having owned a machine for 5 years and never used it I was excited to start but unsure of how I’d manage to complete each task in the two hour window. Aliss is patient and knowledgeable, introducing us to new skills and tools each week. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and can use everything I made which is definitely a bonus. Excellent course, definitely recommended.

Response from The Stitchery Frome:

Thanks for your feedback Heather, I'm so happy you're confident using your sewing machine! You'll be making all your Christmas presents now!
