About the Course

Get together with a friend and come and join me at my home in the glorious Hampshire countryside for a fun and relaxed morning's workshop where you will be expertly guided on how to make your own 30cm drum lampshade. Whether you choose to make a ceiling or table lampshade at the end of the day you'll take home your very own beautiful creation!

No previous experience or sewing skills are necessary. This Workshop is for just 2 People.

Whilst I have a large stock of beautiful fabrics for you to choose from, if you have something specific to use on the day, do bring it along (you will need approximately 1/2 a metre of fabric). When choosing fabric, I'd recommend a light/medium weight cotton or cotton mix. Don't use a silk, heavy linen or anything with a high nylon content for your first time, you'll be pulling your hair out and not enjoy the class as much!

Workshops start promptly at 10am and will run for approximately 2 1/2 hours (with a break for refreshments/homemade cake half way through).

Why not make more of a day out and stay for lunch at the wonderful Anchor Inn, just a stone's throw from the house. I'm always very happy to make reservations in advance for you.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
