About the Course
Afsana's 10 years experience in the wedding and bridal industry has given her first hand insight in what it takes to become a Henna Artist, but more importantly how to thrive in the business. Together with her postgraduate research in Education Studies she has comprised a henna training syllabus which aims to equip students with everything they need to know in how to become a professional Henna Artist.
The course covers everything from the 'History of henna and Jagua', the fundamentals of 'how to hold your cone' and 'how to connect patterns' to 'how to make your own henna paste, cone rolling, filling and sealing, as well as basic health and safety; it covers 'how to construct bridal designs' and looks into business aspects of henna including insurance and client care.
Her academic background has given her the knowledge and ability to conduct the perfect learning environment focusing on a humanistic approach to teaching and learning. The class is kept small to adhere to each student's learning needs and offer as much one to one student attention as possible. Moreover, a 'Student Aftercare' service is available for advice and support from Afsana including a post class meeting to check up on student's progress (terms and conditions apply).
Classes are running throughout 2019 with limited spaces.
