No drawing skills required either! Gelli plate printing can give vibrant instant results and is a great form of mindfulness and creativity combined. During this workshop you will explore a variety of Gelli Plate Printing techniques. You will get to explore the following techniques alcohol inks prints on gelli plate collagraph printmaking combined with gelli printing stencils and masking stamping, drawing and colour layering into gelli Image transfer through gelli printing how to develop and work back into your gelli prints This will be a perfect opportunity to be playful and experimental with gelli printing. You will get to produce a large number of prints, some of which you may consider as finished pieces, others which you may choose to develop further.

Maker
Dr Helen Jones has 12 years art teaching experience. Helen achieved a 1st Class honours in Fine Art and continues to be a practicing Artist from her home studio in Chester. She completed an MA in Art Education and then completed a Doctorate in the subject. She has delivered adult art workshops nationally. Helen has also taught art in Tuscany, the Congo, Rome and Finland. She has a warm and encouraging nature.
