Description
Early December is the perfect time to ring fence a bit of ‘me time’ before things get too hectic. Come and enjoy a fun, relaxing day (or half day) creating a Christmas themed mosaic in the company of like minded crafters...or maybe come along with a couple of friends. From a candle wreath or tree to a Christmas bauble, you’ll learn how to cut, shape and lay a wide range of mosaic materials, which bases to use with what adhesive and much more. Classes are small - a maximum of four, a minimum of three - to ensure lots of help and encouragement. What's included in the price?
There’ll be a selection of Christmas themed shapes to mosaic, a wide choice of materials to choose from and a comprehensive set of notes to take away. There’ll also be lots of tea, coffee and cake provided throughout the day.

With a new baby, I felt I needed a bit of me time so booked on a one day mosaic course at my local adult community college. It changed my life! An ancient craft, I was enthralled by its potential to create art as well as decorative functional items for the home. I found it totally absorbing, spending time when I could learning more from other mosaicists. Twenty plus years on, I now love to share my passion and enjoy seeing my students become equally enthusiastic - I find it so rewarding.

No! If you don’t feel confident, I can help by providing stencils, tracing paper, images and guidance.
Tea, coffee and cake is provided but you might like to bring a packed lunch - applicable only to the full day workshops. An apron is optional but I can provide those.
