About the Course
Creative embroidery workshops, exploring free motion embroidery.
Bring your sewing machine to join a small informal workshop, maximum 3 people, held in our cottage in Brampton, near Beccles.
Become confident in drawing shapes, patterns and images with your sewing machine. You need to be able to drop the feed dogs on your machine, and a darning foot fitted would be ideal, you can find out more on the web site.
The morning will be an introduction to free machine embroidery and the techniques involved. In the afternoon we will put into practice what you have learned in the morning so please bring along some design inspiration, a favourite photo a sketch/scribble, postcard or reference books of something you would like to create.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
There will be cottons, fabrics, embroidery hoops and interface but please feel free to bring your own, if you also own an embroidery hoop it would be a useful thing to bring with you, plus any extra machine needles, bobbins, scissors etc. A manual is also handy for your machine.
