In this workshop you will learn how to hoop up your fabric and set your machine up ready to create wonderfully wobbly lines. You’ll then get to grips with using your machine without feed dogs, ‘drawing’ with your machine and adding splashes of colour with fabrics. By the end of the class you’ll have a selection of sample pieces and have created your very own framed card to take away. You will learn how to: * Set your machine up ready for freehand machine embroidery * What Tools are required * How to hoop up your fabric * Fabric choices and preparing your fabric * Add splashes of colour with Bondaweb * Thread choice * Transferring designs * Great practice ideas * Resolving issues * Learning good FME habits

What's included in the price?

You will need to bring your own sewing machines and have the correct embroidery foot for your model of machine. If you do not have a machine there are a couple available to use on the day, please let me know if you'd like to borrow one. . All other materials are included in the price and hoops are available to borrow. Tea and coffee is provided. As this is only a 3 hour workshop lunch will not be provided but feel free to bring along a snack.
