Description
A complete introduction to collagraph printmaking using a press! In this workshop you'll explore a range of materials that you can use to create exciting textured printing plates. If you love collage, then you'll love Collagraph! This printmaking process is essentially a form of printed collage, from the Greek 'colla' meaning glue and 'graph' meaning to draw. If you love texture, shape and colour this is a great workshop for you. By the end of the weekend you'll have; - an understanding of the tools, materials and papers - an understanding of the inking and printing process - created a series of collagraph plates - created a range of collagraph prints This workshop is suitable for adults and those aged 16 years +. All abilities are welcome, beginners, improvers and those looking to try something new! To protect your clothes please bring an apron or wear old clothing. You will need to bring your own lunch.
