Having crafted for several years, on retirement from full time work I had the luxury of time to take the next step in my personal development and become a qualified Powertex tutor. To run alongside this I also teach Mixed Media workshops.

"Fantastic class, and superb teacher! I book Powertex and stone art owl for a group of 4. After looking, I decided I would like to do the book cover instead, and Jan was happy to accommodate the chance. She is great at teaching, and great at putting people at ease. The youngest member of our group was very worried, and she was upset because she thought she was doing a different project. Jan immediately switched her project, and helped her to build her confidence. She was really happy at the end of the course. I'll definitely recommend the course, and I will be back at the first opportunity. "

Jan made a lot of effort to ensure I was happy with my powertex creation and it was a nice way to spend a relaxing day learning something new. We were both new to the craft and Jan walked us through it. Stunning pieces and very happy group. 4 of us went, 2 had been apprehensive. They loved it and are planning return trips. I would recommend to anyone to book with Jan. I had done Waterlooville before and the standard is so high for all of the teachers."

"Today was my first experience of Powertex after being introduced by my friend. I don’t mind admitting I have very little in the way of creative skills! It was really amazing, very interesting and lots of fun. Jan is so lovely and put us at our ease straight away and made sure we knew exactly what to do at each stage. The biscuits and coffee were very welcome too! My 12 year old loved it too and we will definitely be back. The four of us had a great time and I’m very pleased with my first project!!
