About the Course
Feeling autumnal? Then get stuck in creating a beautiful triptych of The Bishop's Palace foliage. Over 4 weeks, you will create 3 beautiful, small-scale paintings of the plants in the grounds of the Palace.
You will learn about colour mixing and tonal shading by experimenting with different techniques. Gemma from Green Fox Workshops will go through a step by step method, showing you how to capture shape and depth in your work.
This course will have you working from direct observation and get you thinking about depth and detail in the nature around us.
The paintings will be small scale (12cm x 12cm) allowing you to focus on detail and once completed you will be able to frame them in the frames and mounts provided so that they are ready for display!
Location: Stable Yard Room, The Bishop's Palace
Course Tutor: Gemma Lane of Green Fox Workshops
