Description
A fabulous new lampshade can transform a room. Even better if it is one you have designed and made yourself. On this workshop you will learn how to make your own block and repeat pattern, which you will print onto fabric and then use to make your own fabulous lampshade. Block printing is such a fun way to explore pattern and colour. Even the simplest dot or line becomes a pattern when repeated across the page. There are no rules except to have fun and enjoy the process! Our Studio is in a beautiful converted Oast with exposed beams and gentle views across the farmland. Filled with mouth-watering aromas from The Oast Bakery, where Alison prepares our delicious refreshments, this is the perfect place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some creative time for yourself. Our aim is to offer the chance to unwind, learn a new skill and meet like minded people whilst enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake.
