Join me (Lou) from Sew Need a Drink for an these online Beginner's sewing classes.
On booking you will receive a link to join the group on Zoom and details of any preparation and equipment needed.
Suitable for beginner sewists from aged 14 on their own or aged 8+ with an adult. You just need to have a basic knowledge of using your own sewing machine (or I offer one-to-one classes available prior to the course).
For all classes you will need a device connected to the internet, a sewing machine set up and ready to use, a basic sewing kit and an iron and ironing board (also set up and ready to use).
We will sew together and you will be able to ask questions for clarification throughout. You will be able to see me (the tutor) and my table and/or sewing machine for demonstration purposes.
5th August: Roll-Up Make-Up Brush Case (can also be used for pencils, crochet hooks, paint brushes, picnic cutlery....and so on)
12th August: Oversized Tote Bag with Pocket Detail
19th August: Zipped Washbag
26th August: Pillowcase Top for an Adult (or dress for child)

What you will need

A sewing machine set up and ready to us.
Basic sewing kit: scissors, pins or clips, a stitch ripper (just in case!), something to mark the fabric temporarily, tape measure and safety pin.
