Description
Join me in my creative practice, gathering plants, dyeing yarns and crafting together while we wait for pots to heat on the wood burner. This is a relaxed space to join in the dyeing of yarns, learn about the process in a hands on way and take home a bundle of dyed skeins. You are welcome to join in as much as you feel you want to or use the time to create a comfy spot inside or outside, bring a project to work on, or enjoy some time alone in the beautiful grounds of Hawkwood.
What's included in the price?
All materials are included. Bring a blanket to cover the chair for extra comfort, and a travel mug for tea, bring a waterproof bag to take home your yarn.

I am an artist and writer with MA Art Psychotherapy. I have been spinning for 23 years and studying natural cycles of the seasons since 1998 with the Ancient Wheel of Wisdom by Lady Colleen Heller. These all come together in my workshops which are creative and nurturing spaces to learn and enjoy the nourishment and connection these activities bring.

FAQs
The roundhouse is up a couple of steps and accessed through a field from the carpark. The toilets are a short up hill gradient walk and are outside compost toilets up a number of wooden steps. Therefore it may not be suitable for wheelchair users. I do run this course in other venues that are wheelchair friendly, let me know for those dates.
