About the Course
The Bangle Making or Cuff Bangle Making Workshop is suitable for absolute beginners to people with some prior experience, who may wish to develop and build on skills they already have.
The skills you will learn during the day are how to use copper and silver to form bangles or cuffs to your desired shape, along with how to measure your wrist size. You will also learn texturising, letter stamping, paternation, sawing, shaping, and how to anneal, soldier & cure the metal; before finally buffing and polishing your finished piece to a high shine finish.
The workshop is very interactive and continued support is offered throughout the day, whilst at the same time allowing from students to also work independently.
The course runs for 3 hours but on occasions can slightly run over to enable students to complete the project they are working on.
