About the Course

Using Bev’s designs or your own and working with a selection of fabrics you will firstly cut all the pieces to create your pattern. You will learn and incorporate applique and machine embroidery techniques into your fabric piece. The day will finish with the construction of your lampshade, ready to take away and fit to a lamp stand.
Suitable for Beginners and Improvers.
Old Bank Studios offers a wide range of art, craft and textile courses and work-shops. Based in a glorious Edwardian banking hall, our fully equipped studios provide ideal spaces where students can work in a relaxed, ambient atmosphere. Located in the heart of Old Harwich, we are just a few yards from the Electric Palace Cinema.
