About the Course
In this two and a half day spoon carving course you will cover everything necessary to fill your home with beautiful and useful wooden objects. From tree to spoon, JoJo will guide you through safe and efficient use of the three simple tools you need for this craft – an axe, a knife and a spoon knife. You will focus on good technique and efficiency, giving you all the skills to carve great wooden spoons with ease. You will leave with a selection of spoons to use, and the confidence to continue creating more at home.
JoJo is a second generation, world renowned spoon carver. She teaches regularly around the world. Her teaching focusses heavily on technique. She aims to show people that good technique will always win out over strength.
JoJo also likes to focus on personal development. She teaches that we are all at different stages of our journey. Everyone has something different to learn. JoJo helps people through their own personal challenges and take them on to the next stage of their development.
