Learn Scottish woodcarving traditions in the forest at Inshriach, close to Aviemore. The humble spoon is one of the most useful kitchen tools. We use them everyday for making most of our meals. In this course you will learn how to make a beautiful, practical and ergonomic cooking spoon from a log. Carving a spoon is an iconic starting point in green wood working as you spend a full day learning to be confident with the carving axe and knife (the main tools of this activity).
