East Sussex - Next course on 31st March 2018
Join Nikki for this one day taster course, experimenting with a range of mixed media skills to create one of Britain's favourite garden birds. You will be supplied with an armature, air dry clay and modelling tools, leaving plenty of time to let your imagination run wild decorating your piece with a mixture of wire, paper, collage, and beads. A wooden mount board is supplied but if you prefer you can bring your own.
A Papershades workshop lasts about three hours. In that time, you'll learn how to use paper collage to create a unique design on a card template. All the paper and materials are provided along with expert tuition from artist Ros Freeborn. Once your paper design is ready, Ros will print it onto five panels of A4 Papershades paper and then, once you've cut out the template, it will be fixed onto Papershades wheels and.... voila!...
This course is suitable for beginners as well as those who are experienced in the use of mixed media and Powertex. I'll also show you how to use paperclay to make some great embellishments.The course is from 10am - 4pm.
