"Superb day workshop. Excellent tuition/advice from Jo, who was very encouraging and offered her skills/help when needed. Welcoming and comfortable studio with a fantastic choice of materials and tools. Certainly the best art activity I’ve done in a long time and extremely pleased with both of my slate creations. They look fab on the wall. Highly recommended. Many thanks to Jo."

"I did this course, it was excellent, 5⭐️. Jo is a wonderful tutor, she skilfully explained her craft, provided a bounty of materials to work with, a great studio, and hospitality, and with patience and great feedback and suggestions was able to tutor-guide me to create two complimentary mosaics, Hare + Tortoise, completed The Race. My race to complete the two mosaics would not have got of the blocs without Jo, thank you ever so much. I will be coming back for more. "

"What a great value for money day out in lovely surroundings with a great, friendly tutor who certainly put you at ease, made you feel welcome and gave time to everyone to help you create something you were very proud of. I loved the experience and am so happy with my Hare, I bought a take home kit to make a friend for him!! Big thumbs up and even bigger thankyou from me. I have now booked to try the slate making day. "

"Such an enjoyable day in beautiful surroundings ,was a little worried about making my hare but Jo soon made you feel at ease. She gave us excellent instructions and we were well looked after. Iam sorry I didn't take a kit home to make. Would definitely recommend "

"Great workshop with a wonderful tutor and beautiful studio. I attended this workshop thinking I’d never produce anything as lovely as the images on Jo’s website. But Jo explains everything in detail and even a person without a creative bone in their body like me leaves with a gorgeous hare. It’s amazing how different each hare is. I felt so confident I also purchased a kit to do at home. Thank you Jo for your help and for sharing your skills, home and workspace. I’d recommend this very popular workshop to anyone"

"I loved attending this course and to able to bring my finished happy leaping hare home to keep and treasure. A small group meant that Jo was able to give us all personal attention. Jo was very welcoming into her lovely home and garden and it meant we had a lovely setting when sat in the studio. "

"Can't quite believe I managed to stay awake for the most exciting craft intensive day I've done in the past 15 years. This was value for money certainly and even with a small group Jo was on her feet supporting, demonstrating, preparing from 9 through to 5 and even over lunch. At no time did I feel out of my depth and to actually get to take home a complete finished leaping hare was mind-blowing.I felt such a sense of achievement not just for me but for everyone.Each hare was different and amazing For anyone who thought they couldn't do that,then I would highly recommend they join one of Jo's sessions...because she makes the the unbelievable, achievable for everyone. One shattered sculptor later....it was just so very worth it.Thanks Jo."

"Wow! This is an exceptional 2 day course! As a seasoned crafter I have done a wide variety of workshops and this one has been superb. Jo is a fantastic, kind and patient tutor who guides you through the process with gentle encouragement. Both Jo & her husband Andy were constantly offering tea (much appreciated) whilst quietly tidying up and seamlessly preparing the next stage for us to do. I am totally in love with my cat sculpture and it will look amazing in my garden as a treasured centrepiece. Thank you to both Jo & Andy."

"Enjoyed a fantastic day at the Hare Sculpting Course, along with my Daughter. I was nervous at first and worried that I would make a mess of it all but the welcome and atmosphere was so lovely that I soon relaxed. All instructions and demonstrations were clear and easy to follow and we all finished up with beautiful sculptures to take home, every one of them was different, each containing our own personally chosen characteristics. I would highly recommend this course and will certainly be attending another in the future. Thank you for such an exhilarating and memorable day."

There were just 7 of us which ensured that we all received more than enough individual attention, and I thought that Jo’s tuition and mentoring were excellent. The result for me was a successful project for a first experience, and an encouragement and confidence to attempt to construct a kit at home. "

"What an amazing workshop to do. I attended this workshop yesterday with my niece Kim. Having no sculpting experience I decided to have a go and I more than exceeded my own expectations. Jo and Andy are fabulous hosts. The setting was so peaceful and tranquil that it was easy to forget about every day stresses. Jo is extremely organised in her delivery of the course, but also very attentive to needs of each individual in the group. We all had fun and.came away with our very own little masterpieces. Jo and Andy will encourage you to bring out your creative side (which I believe we all have, even if we don’t think we do!) I would highly recommend this workshop. Have a go, you really might surprise yourself! I did!. And I want to do it again!."

"Great course. Lovely setting. All round brilliant experience. It was a very full day so I barely stopped to chat. But all very informal and relaxed. Jo gave brilliant guidance and tips. Just the right amount. I was slowest in the group and being a bit of a perfectionist I hardly had time for lunch. Not a complaint though. Happy to be allowed to fiddle on. Pleased with my sculpture.
