"It was the first time I had braved something like this on my own and I absolutely loved this course. It was clear on arrival that Jo has a wonderful warmth about her and the step by step guidance, helping hand if needed and the slick timings that kept us all at the same creative pace was perfect. It was clear that Jo and Andy really have gone that little bit extra to make this course something special,. The attention to detail with the glass capsule message if you choose to add one at the start and the sweep of gold to finish - not sure of the professional term 🤣 were much appreciated. Thank you both so much."

"Wonderful course - Jo is so organised, kept us all making progress and when the plaster came out, the joint effort between Jo and her husband to keep us all supplied with fresh plaster was like a well oiled machine. They were both so welcoming and helpful, even to the point of moving cars and helping me get my mahoosive hare into my passenger footwell at the end of the day. Very keen to go back and do some more"

"I had a fantastic day with Jo at the one day Hare workshop. Everything was so very well organised right down to the parking system ! Jo ( and Alan) were on hand to help and ask questions. Everything was explained beautifully by Jo so even as a novice the course was easy to follow. Refreshments always available and packed lunch was taken in the kitchen whilst Jo organised the afternoon. I absolutely love my hare and would love to visit again to create something similar and equally as beautiful. If I had to make a slight negative comment -but it did not impinge on my enjoyment at all was it was a compact course to finish on time - possibly as most people had medium sized hares to complete, it felt very slightly rushed at the end to finish in a day. “Hartley “ is sitting in my kitchen table at the moment where hubby and I can easily admire him. He has had plenty of offers for a new home via friends on social media … he’s definitely not going anywhere! Thank you so much Jo "

"Thank you Sammie - just keep hold of Hartley! You can see why one of the other delegates at the workshop is a regular (making a family of hares!). I do appreciate your comment about the extended day. It's a busy workshop, but we nearly always finish on time (4.30 - 5pm). However, the weather and a range of other little things, meant Sunday's workshop overran a little. My apologies if this caused a hiccup with your timing. It would be great to see you back again, perhaps to make your lurcher! Jo xx"

"A really enjoyable course. I doubted that I could create a sculpture that looks like a hare but I was really proud of what I achieved and it's great that you get to take it home the same day, finished. Jo is a great teacher and provided a relaxed and supportive environment to work in. "

"Jo was very friendly and welcoming, and with a little help from Andy, guided us through each step while managing to ensure that the project was still all our own work. We were kept topped up with coffee and biscuits, and by the end of the day produced a class of brilliant, but individual Hares. I would definitely recommend this course, and hope to book another of Jo's in the future."

"Wow! What can I say? From the moment I saw the course I was excited to attempt my own garden sculpture. The venue was incredible, full of creative inspiration, run impeccably by the very talented Jo, always on hand to support.. Every stage of the sculpture was well planned, and support was offered when needed with hints and tips along the way. I’m so happy with my creation. Thank you. It really has been the highlight of the year. I have decided to return, but the big question is what to make next!"

"Thank you Ani! Your large ear scratching hare was so much fun - it will be interesting to see how the 'blackened iron' finishing paint will mature over the next few weeks when he is outside. The splashes of bronze metal paint will patinate to blue/green and the blackened iron will remain a dark colour with burnt orange rust in places. Should be WOW! Jo xx"

I felt grateful to experience such exceptional facilitation whilst creating my garden sculpture of the Geese. "

"What an amazing day. I cannot believe we all produced such beautiful hares in a day. Jo is an excellent teacher, she takes you through the process step by step giving you the confidence to produce some lovely work. This was my last years Christmas present and one of the best. I would certainly recommend the course and with Christmas coming an ideal gift."

"Just back from a fabulous day Hare-making. Jo is an excellent tutor, clear explanations and offering really helpful support throughout the day, nothing was rushed either. Really pleased with my medium hare, worth the upgrade for such a statement piece. What a lovely spot in her garden for the studio too. Totally inspiring day, thank you very much."

"I was gifted this for my 40th birthday. I must say, it’s the most fun I’ve had crafting! The online video was so helpful, I loved being able to rewind and make sure I knew what I was doing. Jo puts together a great box, full of everything you need if you are doing this from home. The instructions are super clear too! I ran out of nothing and have so much spare plaster I’m going to get creative with it! Thank you so much! I HIGHLY recommend this kit! "

"I had a wonderful day on this slate mosaic course recently. Even though I had never done anything like this before, Jo provided plenty of friendly instruction, guidance and advice. And there was such a huge range of materials to choose from (that was the hardest bit - deciding what to use!). Jo was fantastically organised, down to the last detail, so the whole day ran so smoothly, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere and in such beautiful surroundings too. Thanks Jo! Very highly recommended!"

"I bought this kit for two of my children (9 years and 7 years) to tackle over the rainy summer holidays and it was absolutely brilliant!! Kept them happy modelling for a full day, and another morning of painting and gilding. We are all pleased and astonished at the lovely results ! Jo's YouTube tutorial is excellent. We had so much fun doing this, highly recommended - for all ages. Thank you very much Jo. "
