"I absolutely loved the beginners glass workshop! I learned all the creative techniques I needed to start making my own pieces for my home and gifts for my friends. Melanie’s workshop space is really inspiring... it’s full of ideas and creativity. The course was really enjoyable and easy to follow, and I am so happy with all the beautiful things I was able to make. I am adding more of the workshops onto my Christmas list and I cant wait to book on some more myself too :) "

"Made a lantern on the course 13th September. It was a relaxed and creative atmosphere. Melanie guided us all through the techniques and options and provided all materials. On the course we all did such different themes and patterns for our four panels. A great afternoon and looking forward to bringing the lantern home. "

"I attended Melanie's batiq course. It was a really lovely, relaxing day and Melanie is an excellent teacher who is very patient and has a teaching style that is easy to understand. She answered any questions I had and I didnt feel awkward asking further questions. Melanie is also very funny and friendly and treats all students equally. The materials provided were great and her studio was very pleasant, light and airy. Melanie is extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I left her class feeling very chilled out and with a good knowledge of batiq techniques. I highly recommend this course and wouldn't hesitate to try other courses Melanie provides. "

You end up with a wonderful number of items, to keep or for gifts. It is held in a lovely location and with nice weather we had lunch outside. Plus there are added tea and cakes. "Absolutely amazing class! Thankyou so much Melanie 😊 We cant wait to book a different class again. I booked the beginners fused class, for my partners birthday present and was beyond impressed. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed it, so fun and relaxing. We're really giddy to pick up the finished pieces. Melanie was great at keeping us refreshed with tea and sweet teats. The entire class flowed so well; she explained everything so clearly, it was easy to follow. She had the studio so well laid out with many examples and inspiration. Theres so many materials and tools to work with! Endless creative opportunities. Melanie is fab at giving glass tips and tricks, aswell as advice to how best execute our ideas when we needed help. Melanie is so easy to get on with and we cant wait to go back. Will be recommending her classes to everyone."
