"Had a wonderful day felting with Melanie Louise at Crafts in the Valley. We had organised a private lesson for four of us and we had a great day. The Studio was bright and airy and full of inspiration, Melanie was a very knowledgeable tutor and making the felted pieces was pure joy. I was extremely pleased with my results having never tried wet felting before, we will certainly be back for more. Thank you. "

"Really enjoyed making the glass latern. Melanie is a great teacher, who gives you enough information to give confidence in what you’re doing. Lots of materials to choose from to make your lantern bespoke and personal to you. The venue is relaxed and comfortable, light and airy, with plenty of refreshments and yummy cake. Would definitely recommend "

"Loved this course. Did the five week evening course and found the eagerly-anticipated sessions flew by. So much creative mindfulness and thrilled with the final result. Melanie is so supportive and welcoming. With her guidance and advice I was able to tackle a more ambitious piece and was also inspired by the lovely finished pieces she had coaxed out of the other participants. I love my time in the studio with Melanie and recommend her courses to all my friends. There is always great company, calm creativity and, of course, cake! Already booked my next course."

"We had a fantastic afternoon making a beautiful lantern. There were lots of stencils available to make the fused glass panels of the lantern and a wide range of glass colours. I designed a festive winter theme while my friend went for the four seasons so she can keep her lantern up all year. Melanie is a lovely, inspiring tutor and the workshop is in such a nice environment- and the refreshments were great too! We are already planning our next workshop at Crafts in the Valley!"
