"Attended the wet felting workshop last week and I wasn’t disappointed. It isn’t the first course of Sally’s that I’ve attended and as previously it was so well organised. The joining instructions include everything you could possibly want to know beforehand and the course was specific to my needs. I came away with a piece of felting that I can further embellish with embroidery etc. I loved it and it was fun! Thank you. See you again xx"

"I thoroughly enjoyed this beginners photography workshop. Our tutor, Sally, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. I came away enthusiastic to get started taking better photographs 'in real life' It was a small group (3) which made social distancing easier in this small but wonderfully appointed and accessible venue. I look forward to returning to further my learning in this and other subjects."

"We really loved making moon-gazing hares with Sally Evans. We had such a lovely, relaxing time and really appreciated how Sally enabled us to complete our hares by the end of the day. We had such a sense of achievement and have had lots of lovely feedback on them. Sally introduced us to the techniques involved and also gave us lots of choice so we could personalise our designs. She is an excellent teacher and we were made to feel very much at home in her workshop."

"This was such a relaxed, friendly and informative start to glass fusion. Sally was incredibly accommodating of all our ideas. The time flew as we worked away while conversation meandered from glass topics to all manner of things. We both came away feeling refreshed having done something creative and encouraged to make this time a more regular thing. As for the current restrictions Sally made sure that all precautions were adhered to without it impacting the fun of the workshop. Thank you so much !!"

"We had a two on one day of learning to crochet having never had done it before. We both chose different projects and Sally was very flexible and patient teaching us the techniques. We were quick to learn because she is a good teacher ! We were hoping to be given crochet hooks as part of the course but luckily we were able to purchase some online after the course and have them arrive fairly quickly."

"Had the best day doing this course, the workshop was warm and inviting, and all covid precautions were in place. Sally was very welcoming and made the day very enjoyable. Everything was explained very clearly and instruction easy to follow. It would be worth attending other needle felting classes before this one as you need an understanding of needle felting for this class. Would highly recommend any of Sally's classes, they are always a pleasure."

"Sally Evan's style and approach to the workshop was well judged for me, a complete beginner to lino cutting. She balanced demonstration with encouragement to work alongside her very well. As an outcome from the workshop I had a linocut of a blackbird in the style (roughly!) of an artist I admire and very clear instruction on how to print, which I completed immediately following the workshop. My progress within two hours exceeded my expectation and I feel confident and motivated to go on more making. Thank you, Sally"

"Sally is an experienced and intelligent teacher, gently organising you as needed through the day so you can go home with something you're happy with and new skills. She's a skilled facilitator, providing inspiration as well as all the necessary materials. My daughter and I enjoyed her relaxed company and had such a fun day together. My daughter chose something more technical to do so very happily went home with a project to finish. Sally was very helpful in providing guidance on tools and materials. Social distancing and care were observed and we felt safe in the situation. Good directions, easy parking, clean toilet, warm room."
