My husband booked the Glass for the Garden course for me for my birthday. It was a fantastic day. I made lots of high end stunning garden pieces that I designed myself with Jennifer's help. I was thrilled with results. Jennifer is a lovely teacher with a lot of skill and advice. The best birthday present I've had.

This was an excellent experience. I would go again. I have a kiln already and work with glass, but Jennifer taught me so much. I can't say enough good thing about the teaching and whole experience. As other reviews have said... well worth the money.

I had a wonderful day with Steph at The Cheshire school of Glass. This course was excellent and Steph is a great teacher. She is very encouraging and patient. I would highly recommend this course to anyone. The studio has a lovely barn conversion warmth about it, which was a pleasure to work in.

Intermediate glass fusing at the Cheshire School of Glass

The two days went so quickly doing this course. I learnt so much in such a short space of time. I would highly recommend doing this course to anyone before considering getting a kiln of their own. I have done both the basic fusing and intermediate ( with a discount of 10% after completion of one course). Great facilities and a brilliant teacher.

My wife and I spent a fantastic morning with the lovely Jenny Barker at her studio in Frodsham. Not only did we have a really great time; the pieces that we made were beyond our expectations. We were given steel frames to put the glass art in that are exceptionally well made to go in the garden all year round. Anyone who goes on the course will agree it is great value for money.

I have learnt more than I ever expected. Jenny is one of the only tutors in glass who is willing to really tell you how to start up in glass. She is generous and open with knowledge. I have been to other glass schools around the country and found Cheshire School of Glass to be in a different league in every way.

This was a really great course. If I can afford to I will do it again. It was information overload! worth every penny. I came away with so much knowledge and ability after such a short space of time. I've just purchased my kiln , so I'm all set to go. I couldn't have done it without Jenny Barker's help at Cheshire school of Glass.

An excellent course with a wonderful , knowledable tutor. Jenny gives 100 %. You come away with a vast amout of work and so many ideas. I have bought a kiln and Jenny has guided me through doing everything , including picking the right kiln and what to use. Jenny made sure I understood the firing of glass thoroughly, so I didn't feel daunted when I fired it on my own. A really worthwhile experience.

Intermediate glass fusing at the Cheshire School of Glass

In-person course
- - #18504

An excellent two day course full of useful information, lots of handouts and plenty of high end materials to experiment with. Jenny catered for eveyone's previous experiences in glass. Some of us had done courses with Jenny before, some elsewhere. A good mix of technical theory and practical to really give you a grounding of glass fusing. We made a lot of quality pieces in two day. I felt we all really had our moneys worth. Fab course. I recommend it.

I was fortunate enough to have Jenny to myself on this course and it really was awonderful two days. I'm amazed at how much I made over 2 days. The time went so quickly it was hard to leave. I will definitely go again to cheshire school of glass art.

I have never worked with glass before, so I wasn't sure if this course would be appropiate for me. I would encourage anyone who has no experience in glass or has had a go before to do this course. Jenny taught me to cut glass with ease , create original designs ( even though I can't draw! ) and learn how the fusing technique works. At the end of the course we were given a well made metal structure to hold our glass work.
