M Ashworth reviewed: Fishing Fly Tying (half day) in the Peak District

"My son and I attended Fishing Fly Tying half day. I am a complete beginner and my son has some knowledge and practical skills. The venue is excellent, the instructor was great, welcoming and made you feel at ease straight away. We started with a simple flies such as a mop fly processing to making flies such as a pheasant tale nymph. The instructor was flexible and asked what we wanted to learn the make. All supplies used were explained and instructions were clearly given. Conversation was engaging and very informative. My son and I tend to do a workshop together to spend time together while learning a new/improve skills. I would highly recommend this course, great location, fantastic instructor and amazing home made cake. "

Zantium Studios Ltd responded:

"Many thanks for this super positive review. It was an absolute pleasure teaching you both. I am so glad our course hit the spot. Wishing you every success with your own fly tying and fishing pursuits. Peter x"

Caroline Hebbs. reviewed: Mosaic garden plaque workshop pm

"I attended the garden plaque mosaic morning and garden step mosaic afternoon with Chrissy. I have wanted to try mosaics for sometime and I’m so glad to have found Chrissy as it was a perfect introduction. It was a wonderfully creative experience in her welcoming studio with a huge range of different coloured tiles to choose from. She explained everything so clearly and was really encouraging. It was totally absorbing so very therapeutic as my mind switched off from everything but mosaics for the day. My friends and family love what I made. Thank you so much Chrissy. "

Chrissy Webster Mosaic & Craft responded:

"Thanks you so much for a lovely review and it was lovely to meet you. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, and made some wonderful art."

Mina Jeffries reviewed: Robin or Blue Tit Mosaic Garden Stake

"I have been to Michele’s beautiful garden studio twice now. Firstly it was to make the garden Robin and then I fell in love with the Blue Tit as well so booked another workshop before I left to make the Blue Tit. Michele is lovely and really puts you at ease. I had never made a mosaic before so was a little unsure of my creative capabilities. However I quickly realised I was in great hands and that my workshop was going to be really good. There was lots of beautiful mosaic tiles to choose from and we could pick whatever we wanted for our birds. I got really into it. I really like also that my birds can go inside of outside Great value for money Great cake and coffee Great Craftcourse "

Someflower Studio responded:

"Thank you for this lovely review Mina. I did tell you on your first workshop that mosaic id very addictive-LOL! Both your birds are lovely and I know you were unsure to start with but you did a great job and really found your flow. Your Blue Tit is super sparkly and I am sure looks great in the garden. Keep an eye out on my Instagram posts as well as craftcourses for 2026 projects...there will be a couple of new ones added and I hope to see you here at the studio for some more creative fun very soon."

Prior to arrival Cat found out what I hoped to achieve and tailored the varied and engaging activities accordingly. Atholl reviewed: 2 Day Damascus knife Making Course

"Great couple of days with Dan and Elliot, really hard work, you make the billet and then the knife, lots of blisters and aches and pain, but really worth it for the end result. Never mind the actual knife making we had a great time just chatting. Lovely cafe just up the road. Can't reccomened it highly enough. My son will certainly never forget his 18th birthday and has a stunning knife for his life of cooking."
