About the Course
Learn how to repair antiquarian books and rebind old books in leather or cloth. This is an opportunity for you to acquire the skills to transform your bookshelves and learn a few conservation techniques so you can take care of your most treasured books.
Victorian cloth back books or 18th century leather bound books are the usual projects people bring along but you are welcome to bring any book in any condition! Just email me a photo of the book you'd like to work on.
The range of projects I have worked on with previous students is diverse so please have a look at the portfolio on my website, it will give you a good idea of the the range of possibilities.
My studio is at the Welshmill Hub Building on Park Hill Drive Frome. Just a 10 minute walk by the river into town.
If you chose to visit Frome on the 1st Sunday of the month you will be in for a treat at lunchtime as there is a great market with plenty of street food stalls.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
