"We enjoyed every second of this glass bead making course. Julia is a fabulous teacher. She encourages questions and patiently repeats her instructions, one to one, if needed. When, as promised, our beads quickly arrived by post we were delighted with them. We both feel inspired to return to make more beads with Julia. "

"We did this for a friend's birthday. Instead of buying presents, we decided we would spend time together. It was so relaxing and absorbing, time went so quickly. Diane, her husband and beautiful dog were very welcoming and created a very relaxed and friendly environment for different groups to mix and chat. Will definitely be back to do another of the many courses on offer. Great way to get away from it all."

"I joined 3 other beginners having fun while learning a number of techniques including bending, cutting, shaping, adding patterns, soldering and polishing. Had a break with tea and cake in the morning and further refreshments in the afternoon with a BYO lunch in between. Jonathon was very instructive (and patient!). Very pleased with my copper keyring, necklace and silver ring. "

"I had not been striking metal on an anvil since 1980 at school. Chris helped me create two pieces during the day by explaining why and how I was going to do the next task, then watching Chris do the task, followed by me doing the same task with guidance all the way. The time flew by as the conversation throughout the day was great. As an experience there is nothing I would change. The leaf key-ring I made now holds the keys to my workshop as a permanent reminder of a wonderful day. It has left me wanting to do more, as the sense of achievement I got from this day is so good. I thoroughly recommend this day as you will leave the forge with a big smile on your face."

"Absolutely brilliant, what a day! I was bought this as a gift after seeing one of Jo’s hares in a bistro. I wasn’t sure what to expect and I don’t have the most creative flair but I LOVED IT! Jo's guidance was spot on with plenty of patience, and much appreciated copious offers of tea, all set in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. Every hare created on the day was wonderful and I will definitely be back, either to attempt a larger one or a two day masterpiece! "

"My husband, mother in law and I did this full day course today and what a joy it was. The time flew by, as Wendy patiently explained the fine art of glass cutting, fusing and designing to us total beginners. We had plenty of opportunity to practice what had been shown to us and Wendy gave tutelage one on one as needed. Our confidence grew as we saw our creations come to life and within such a tranquil setting it was not difficult to be creative. The location, on the banks of the river Tamar are idyllic and on a Spring / Summer and Autumn day will be superb. As it was, today was bitterly cold but the sun was shining and the skies were blue so didn't spoil the day at all. Wrapped up warm with plenty of hot coffee and biscuits and Jack Frost was soon banished. We would totally recommend Wendy's courses and her expert teaching and can't wait to see the final results after the kilning of our pieces."
