Susan Duncan reviewed: Introduction to macrame with Lucy Wayman

"Great introduction to Macrame. Lucy explained everything very clearly and taught everyone the basic knots they needed to complete a project. She was so good at going around helping everyone (no easy task when we were doing different projects). The workshop was set in Lynn's lovely home and we had all the equipment we needed to complete our projects. Tea and coffee were supplied in lovely bone china cups. I would highly recommend this course. Thank you"

The Arienas Collective responded:

"Hello Susan Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this lovely review. It means so much to us. Lucy does indeed do a great job at supporting people to create their individual macrame projects, and it was wonderful to see so many different styles. And thank you for appreciating the small things too, like my family's vintage cups. I love my tea, and always think it tastes nicer in a lovely china tea cup! I hope your fabulous macrame hanging has found its rightful place hanging proudly at home. And I hope to welcome you back again soon. Best wishes Lynn"

"Jackie was very friendly and welcoming. Her lovely workshop is filled with beautiful mosaic pieces and a vast array of mosaic tiles to choose from. There was five of us in the class, all new to mosaic. Jackie helps you to decide what to do and is highly experienced and gives lots of information. It was a relaxed and fun day and I felt like I had achieved something creative that was also enjoyable. Her banana bread is delicious! Thanks Jackie, would highly recommend for all ages. "

"I did the silver clay course on Saturday with my niece. Both complete novices but Tuuli was very patient and explained processes clearly, and didn’t mind going over processes more than once for those of us who were confused the first time (me!)! She was very knowledgeable about her craft and ensured that we all came away with items to be proud of. Would highly recommend. "

Billy reviewed: Key skills for converting vans into campervans 2 day course

"Fantastic 2 day course - really useful and inspiring for anyone embarking on a campervan conversion. Lots of practical tips from Scott's experience for whole process of conversion - from initial idea to finishing touches. Scott adapts the specifics of the day to meet people's different van projects/budgets. A great course if you've got a tight budget! I really enjoyed the hands on experience we got making electrical loops and practising cutting holes in metal - 2 elements of the build I feel a lot less daunted by now! "

Black Paw upcycle project responded:

"Hi Billy thanks for such a lovely review. I'm so glad you got loads out of it and it will help with your van build. Keep counting the biscuits. "

The classes are small and so it is great to attend alone or with someone else.
