Karen Meins reviewed: Set a seaglass pendant in Silver; Sedgefield

"I wanted to say a massive thank you to From Loft to Loved for hosting the sea glass pendant workshop on Saturday 27th Apr 24 and an even bigger thank you to Lindsay Forbes for making it such an informative and fun morning. As my first session of this type and also the first time I had been to From Loft to Loved, I have to say the workshop not only inspired me but gave me the confidence to have a go at home. The shop also was a source of great inspiration. Thanks for a fun Saturday morning spent in not only a mindful task but also a productive one. I have already subscribed and bookmarked your websites so I can hear about and keep checking for other workshops. Thanks Karen"

Bench Box responded:

Sarah reviewed: Pottery throwing sessions on the potter's wheel in Norfolk

"I booked this course for my mum as a birthday gift. Pat was super friendly and really easy to chat to. She was great at showing/explaining what we were going to be doing! Pat was great at stepping in to support when things were going a bit wrong ( lots in my case!!). We managed to get some great pots made and we bought additional ones on top of the 2 you get to keep already. Looking forward to picking them up in a few weeks. My mum and I had a great time - thanks Pat 😊"

Pat Southwood responded:

"Hi Sarah, thanks for your kind words, so glad you enjoyed yourselves, I will be in touch in a little while re collecting your pots . Pat."

Ann Dawkins reviewed: Introduction to simple Ink Drawings

"Had a very relaxed few hours learning how to use inks with gradual mixing with water to adjust the tint intensity. Using different papers, inks and using permanent ink pens to give accent and detail. I was a complete novice and found that even I could end up with something worthy of a frame. Lovely relaxed time with Niña encouraging us all to give it a go and learn to play again. Loved the paper journals using "scrap" materials which are somehow less intimidating than pristine blank white sheets. Give it a go you will enjoy! "
