Description

Needle Felting Classes with Alyson Merrall - Fun Needle Felting classes for beginners and all levels. 'Fantastic work, love the colours and working with felt' - Pat, Class attendee Alyson's new 3-hour workshops are a fun way to explore your creativity - and you'll make some lovely Needle Felted creations to take home. Needle Felting involves sculpting 3-dimensional pieces in unspun felt using special needles that plump up the felt - the techniques are simple to learn, and Alyson's classes at Vitreus Art will equip you to make more pieces at home if you get the bug! Alyson even includes a kit with needles and felt and instructions in the class! Each workshop is 3 hours - enough time to learn the essential techniques and create either a number of sweet gnomes (called Tomtes), two or three Toadstools or a sleepy fox complete with wooden display base. You can choose which projects to make on the day. - No previous experience is necessary; also suitable for those already experimenting with Needle Felting. This class is led by Alyson Merrall, an accomplished Needle Felt artist. Her students benefit from her many years' experience - they love making pieces following her playful designs.
