One to one or groups welcome. Hen parties with prosecco and cake - choose a date to suit!
Our priority is the safety of our customers and colleagues. For those customers who are now comfortable attending our workshops, these are our new ways of working. We ask that everyone attending any of our workshops follows them.
For those who have booked places on any of our workshops, but are not yet comfortable attending them, we are happy to move them to dates later this year or next year.
To help us restrict the number of people at each session, we ask you to book your place. We will not accept any “drop-in” customers unless we have space to run the workshop safely.
All workshop area work surfaces, toilet and kitchen surfaces will be disinfected regularly.
Towels and tea towels will be washed daily.
We will accept a maximum of 4 participants at each session which will allow for 1m+ social distancing.
Jane (instructor) will keep her distance from participants unless both are happy for them to move closer. If this happens, being side to side is better than face to face. Closer contact should be for less than 15 mins.
We may ask you to wear a face covering.
We will ask all attendees to wash or sanitise their hands as they arrive - before touching anything.
Everyone using the toilets should wash their hands beforehand as well as afterwards.
If possible, we will provide each person with their own tools and materials. When sharing is necessary, everyone will be asked to wash or sanitise their hands before touching shared items.
We will provide hand sanitiser for convenience - hand washing is even better and there’s plenty of soap and water!
We will make drinks and provide cake and biscuits for those who want them. Anyone who does so will wash their hands beforehand. You are welcome to bring your own mug if you prefer.
Face Masks & Gloves
We will provide masks on the day, unless customers would like to bring their own.
Jane will be wearing a mask.
We recommend hand washing / sanitising.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

Thank you I had a lovely relaxed morning making Lola the Hare.
Nothing is too much trouble and I was made to feel so very welcome.
I would definately like to return for another workshop.
I recently spent a lovely morning in Jane's company making a felt hare that I feel really proud of! Never having done this craft before I was a little apprehensive, but Jane put me at my ease immediately in her lovely cosy cottage kitchen, with tea and cakes! She is such a patient teacher and a lovely, warm lady and so easy to chat to that 4 hours just flew by. I will definitely be back again!
Thank you Jane
What a great way to spend a Sunday !
Jane is an excellent teacher, full of ideas and enthusiasm for her subject. She provides a lovely working environment with lots of refreshments.
There were just three of us on the day course, so pre of 121 tuition.
I was thrilled with what I produced, it was beyond my expectations.
Followed Jane's needle felting workshop yesterday where we learned how to create a cute needle felted hare in a small group of lovely people. I absolutely loved every second of it: the ambience, Jane's patience and sense of humour, the tea and cakes and lovely dog, learning the techniques: it was an afternoon very well spent and one to remember!
Jane is a gem, very talented, great to talk and listen to. She managed to explain the techniques so well, I, a person with two left hands(!) walked away with a gorgeous hare I will be showing off to everyone who wants to listen (and to those who don't :P), a love for needle felting and a taste for more! I hope to be able to join another one of Jane's courses in the near future, it was well worth the journey of 3 hours there and back for me :)
I felt lucky enough to have a 1 to 1 course with Jane one afternoon
and learnt loads and came away with a lovely felted fox. Lovely lady very friendly and loads of help. Thank you Jane.
Myself and my mum came to a full day felting course with Jane a few days ago and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. There were only 3 of us on the course (I believe Jane never has more than 5 per group) which was fantastic as it meant we each got as much 1:1 time as we wanted and needed. We were both absolute beginners and came away with a piece we were very proud of. Jane had definitely gotten the best out of us both and was a warm, supportive, informative tutor. All communication was easy and regular. We both definitely got the "felting bug" and I've done a new piece already. We will definitely be back for more with Jane. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Brilliant full days course enjoyed every minute and learnt so much.
Jane is a very good teacher with lots of patience.
I was really surprised how my first attempt at making a wet felting picture turned out extremely pleased with it.
Go on have a go you will not regret it.
I have just finished a wonderful afternoon, really relaxing making a felt flower brooch. Jane is an excellent teacher really inspiring and helpful. We all came away with a taste for felting and lovely flower would recommend to anyone. Thanks Jane
At the weekend I did the 3 hour needle felting course, what a lovely way to spend a morning. Its something I have been wanting to try for a while now and I wasn't disappointed, it gave me a knowledge of the basics which I can now practice & develop at home.
Just spent an exciting morning with Jane learning the beginnings of felting. Jane is an excellent teacher and I loved every minute and also the picture I made. Will definitely attend another of Jane's workshops.
Spent an inspirational afternoon with Jane where she explained in great detail wet felting techniques - I had many questions!! I also learnt how to translate the image from a photograph into a felted scene as she knows so much about design and is more than happy to share this. She showed great patience and allowed me to create with supportive guidance. Thank you Jane, I hope to provide you with some images of my creations once the merino colour arrive :-)
A very well prepared and presented day course which I really enjoyed. I managed to complete two very different pictures and tried out different skills. Finished the day with very positive feelings and intend to attend another session.
I have no hesitation in recommending this course to others.
We had a very relaxed an enjoyable afternoon making felt pictures. Jane explained the techniques well and provided all materials. There was a huge range of merino wool in all colours and it was easy to create a picture in just a few hours. Jane showed us some pieces of work that others had done for inspiration but really all that is needed is your own imagination and a willingness to experiment. Jane offered some guidance but mostly left it to us to develop the felt picture in anyway we liked. As a non arty person I was pleased with my first attempt and would definitely go back to have another go. I would highly recommend this course
I recently attended the felting class run by Jane. She was absolutely brilliant. I have never done anything like this before. Jane was really good at explaining the techniques of felting and was just lovely. I really enjoyed myself and was extremely happy with what I had made.
As someone who finds it difficult to let go and create I spent the most delightful morning learning how to how to make a felt picture from scratch, and actually found, in such a relaxed atmosphere that I could develop something rather special. I am actually rather proud of what I created, the new skills and techniques I have learned so far, and look forward to joining another course with Jane, but next time doing the full day. As all the equipment and felts are included, and her broad knowledge and guidance really clear and inspiring, this is really good value. I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to learn how to do felting from scratch or extend and develop the art.
Enjoyed a lovely morning felting. Couldn't believe what you can make in such a short time and very therapeutic. Jane is a lovely lady, great tutor and very inspirational. All the materials you needed were provided, great choice of good quality merino wool in gorgeous colours. I love arty stuff but wouldn't say I'm particularly creative myself, but I made 2 lovely hair accessories which all my friends have been complementing me on. Jane gave me great advise on basics stuff to buy to get started. Have already ordered my wool and can't wait to get cracking.
I recently spent a very relaxing afternoon felting in Jane`s charming kitchen, and during the class was able to finish a picture of which I am very proud.I am not skilled at any form of crafting so was pleasantly surprised how easy and satisfying it was to create a completed project in such a short time.Jane provided lots of inspiration and a huge selection of merino wool of a rainbow of colours as well as a vast range of embelishments.I will definitely have another go at the felted pictures, but am also keen to try making animals and flowers.I definitely can recommend one of Jane`s courses as a way to create something unique in a very sociable environment.
