Description
A fun half day workshop with fibre artist and tutor Josephine Gornall. Great for beginners to needle felting. Discover how to make a gorgeous little needle felted sheep, maybe a natural coloured one or a funky colourful one. This workshop is held in the morning giving time to maybe enjoy some lunch at one of the eateries within walking distance on site at Dean Clough. Or attend an owl making workshop with me in the afternoon, scroll down to 'see all listings'. Use just a felting needle and wool to felt fibres together. I have lots of different types and colours of wool including curly wools to make a woolly coat. Complete by adding some ears and eyes and see her spring into life. The workshop is held in my studio in Fletcher's Mill, Dean Clough Halifax HX3 5AX Private bespoke workshops are available for families and friends both in Halifax or other venues. I'm Josephine a fibre and mixed media artist and tutor with over 20 years experience of all aspects of wet and dry (needle) felt-making I have my own studio as part of an artists community in Fletchers Mill, Dean Clough in Halifax, West Yorkshire. I run a wide choice of fun, relaxing felt making and needle felting workshops using a vast colourful selection of materials. I also run the courses at other venues. I can set up bespoke courses for friends and families do get in touch to discuss the options. In the past I have been a designer and lecturer. Several years as a community artist. I have delivered and managed celebratory and public arts projects creating textile wall hangings, costumes, murals, lanterns parades, mosaics within Schools, and the wider community.
