Price Includes ALL MATERIALS! Unleash your creativity and learn to paint with wool! In these beginner-friendly, half-day classes, you’ll explore both 2D wool pictures and 3D felted models, mastering texture, shaping, and smooth color blending. All materials are provided, and each month you’ll leave with new skills plus the confidence to practice at home. Perfect for anyone curious about fiber art—no experience needed! Each month will build on skills you have learnt the month before. January - the basics. What needles to use and how to hold them. Background fabrics, what type of wool is best, presenting the finished piece. You will create an image using the 3 primary colours and explore the skill of blending wool to create different colours. February - a 2D scene. You will use skills learnt in January and create a scenie picture. March - a 2D scene with detail. This session will build on skills you've learnt so far and begin to add details. April - a picture with a person. You will add an image of a child/person, please feel free to bring an image with you. May - a 2D picture with an animal. June - Creating leaves. A 2D green man image embellished with leaves. July - 2D Mushrooms August - 3D Mushrooms. September - 2D whimsical figure. October - an Autumn wreath. With leaves, pumpkins and mushrooms. November - Tree Trunks. A skill all by itself. Adding wool and fibres to create texture. December - Christmas. There is a coffee shop on site called O for Coffee. Attendees at our classes are visited by coffee shop staff regularly throughout the day to take any orders. Anything consumed during your day is sold at a 10% discount. As well as a large choice of hot and cold drinks, the menu comprises savoury choices including sandwiches, paninis, jacket potatoes and soups. For those with a sweet tooth, there is a selection of cakes and scones made in-house with gluten-free and vegan options.

Our workshops are reasonably priced. You may like to use items from your stash. Anything you don't have can be purchased in advance or on the day from Tudor Rose Patchwork. Detailed requirements will be emailed in advance.

Should Tudor Rose Patchwork have to cancel a workshop you will receive a full refund.
Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop more than 4 weeks before the workshop date you will receive a refund.
Should you wish to cancel your attendance on a workshop less than four weeks before the workshop date, your payment cannot be refunded.
If a pattern is available for the workshop and no refund is possible then Tudor Rose Patchwork will arrange for you to receive the pattern.
Patterns are not available for workshops that you have not attended or paid for.
Patterns remain the property of the tutor and should not be copied, passed on or used for teaching purposes without the permission of the tutor.
Yes. We have a shop you can visit alongside our two classrooms and coffee shop. There is a huge selection of products for crafters: sewing, knitting, crochet, patchwork and quilting, mixed media, haberdashery, embroidery and so much more.
You will be emailed a requirements list in advance. You can buy everything you don't already have in our shop. We will always make clear anything that you need for the day that we don't sell so you have time to source elsewhere.

Upon arrival, park in the car park at the front of the shop. Unload your vehicle into your classroom. Staff will then advise you where to park your car for the day at the rear of the complex.
