"Having received vouchers as a gift I decided to have a go at making stacker rings in silver. It was my best decision ever. Ian is very knowledgeable and is able to share it without blowing your mind. Patiently showing every step and letting me do as much as i wanted. I successfully made my 3 rings and couldn't be happier with them. If I lived nearer I think I would go regularly. I mustn't forget Jade who made the most amazing fresh cakes and provided drinks all through the session. A truly lovely couple who clearly are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend their courses. "

"This is a fabulous course that I would highly recommend as a complete novice to crochet. Georgie is an excellent tutor with a passion for her subject. She explained the different yarns and crochet hooks before we went on to produce some crochet work with a variety of stitches. I’m looking forward to practising what I’ve learnt and hope to book one of the other courses once I’ve mastered these basics."

"This was my first experience of wood turning. Rick was excellent at explaining the various techniques and tools to be used. His explanation of good workshop practice was very reassuring that I was in a safe environment. His workshop while small is well provisioned for 2 students. Rick encouraged and complimented me and showed patience. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would not hesitate to recommend attendance. The day finished with Rick offering to assist/advise in the future with wood turning but also with obtaining and setting up equipment. A great day. Thank you."

"I spent a thoroughly enjoyable day with Simon to learn how to do wood turning. It’s something I have always wanted to do and the course didn’t disappoint. Simon is really easy going and gives clear instructions without ‘taking over’. Along with lots of hands on time on the lathe you also get bottomless tea and biscuits along with a hearty lunch. This is one of the best craft courses I’ve done so far. You get to take home 2 projects which will certainly impress your friends. If you’ve always wanted a go, don’t hesitate book this course you will love it. "

"We really enjoyed this course. Penny explained the techniques we needed to use clearly and patiently, and was on hand to help as and when needed, also providing delicious home-made cakes at various points in the day (and Milo was very welcoming too!) We spent an incredibly relaxing day creating some prints that we were really proud of, and would definitely recommend Penny's workshops - we're hoping to go back next year to earn about more advanced techniques, but this was a wonderful introduction to lino printing."

"Really enjoyed this course. I liked the venue although getting home through the dark and fog was a bit hairy. Enjoyed lunch, cake and tge rest of the catering. I loved the teaching bit. Holly was very patient and helpful, when I made mistakes or asked for individual help. Pleased with the product and now have the knowledge to have a go myself. "
