I’m running 1:1 or small group online tutorials sharing skills in creating, single section, multi section and Coptic bindings, slipcases and boxes, Japanese stab binding, fabric covers, recycled materials and book repair to name a few.... The online sessions have proven to work really well as you choose what subject you want to learn and we can work at your pace from the comfort of your own home. How it Works I provide a tool and materials list so you can be prepared for the session and give you an idea of how many hours the project will take.

What's included in the price?

Full comprehensive tuition from myself, Sharing the experience I have gained having been a professional bookbinder for 15 years. The camera is trained on my hands so you can see each process clearly. You get clear live audio instruction and you can ask questions and raise any queries as we go. My aim is that you can produce high quality binding but with minimal tools and equipment.

Mylyn has been working as a professional bookbinders for 15 years. She has twice been awarded prizes in the Designer Bookbinder competition. She is an active member in the bookbinding community organising the Society of Bookbinders International Competition and on the Society’s London and South committee. She works from her small home small studio and teaches the craft at a variety of venues. She loves books, loves binding and loves sharing her skills and joy of the craft.
