"My 8 year old daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed courses in wet felting with Sarah. Sarah's teaching style is very calm and open, allowing questions to be asked freely at each stage of the process and during demonstrations. She has an ability to pitch her approach to suit young and old alike with enthusiasm and support. If you are looking to try out a new creative process this is one you can't fail to enjoy ,and you get to take home your creations that day to treasure. We hope to attend again and explore our new found skills!"

Gary Joynt reviewed: Fan Bird Carving

"I have wanted to have a go at making Fan Carved Birds for some time as I was intrigued by them and the associated folk law. The course was situated in beautiful surroundings by the side of a stream which suited the wife as she was able to have a wander and take in the local surroundings and bird life following directions from Steve as well as sit in during the session as and when she liked. Steve is very knowledgeable and a real nice guy and his relaxed manner of teaching makes for a great day. The good thing about the course is that Steve has developed his own method of fan bird carving based on observation and trial and error to hone his skills in making the fan carved birds and is happy to share his knowledge and experience. The tools required involve minimal outlay and are easily available. I certainly learned by my mistakes but by the end of the day the techniques required dropped into place and a beautiful fan carved bird was produced which I was happy with. This ended a great day in great company. I was even given a billet of Larch to take home so I could practice. I would certainly recommend this course to anyone."

"I made a stunning piece of art work on this Nuno felting day with Barbara. It is being measured up to be framed to hang in my living room as it goes perfectly with everything. I had an absolutely fabulous experience learning something new, the nuno process is just wow, how amazing it is to see the silk and wool react in such a way - beautiful. I'm afraid Barbara that I will be back for more. Fabulous teacher, so calm and explained everything in such detail in stages, and had a good sense of humour too."

Joan Simcox reviewed: Improvers Hand Spinning - Next Steps in Hand Spinning - at All in a Spin

"Having done the beginners course with Dunja I knew I would get excellent tuition on the 'Improvers' course. I did. You can't help being inspired when your teacher is so enthusiastic about her craft. It was fascinating using the different types of fibres, being shown how to use the different equipment available to spinners and actually being able to understand how to achieve a balanced yarn. It was worth every penny. It was just a really lovely relaxing day with the added bonus of learning such a pleasurable craft. Many thanks Dunja and Brian."

"This course is a must for anyone who has struggled to teach themselves from books or you tube. Having such a great tutor as Dunja to guide you through the important steps of preparing your fleece and then learning the spinning of it proved to be invaluable. Knowing why something is happening is so important and it is something I couldn't obtain from teaching myself. I came away from the course full of confidence and enjoyed the day immensely.
