Chris Arthurs reviewed: Blacksmithing Introductory Workshop - One Day

"A really enjoyable and productive day. Ideal groups size. Trainers (Tutors / Instructors ?) had a good balance between standing back while we practiced : and stepping in, gently but firmly, when in danger of making a complete hash. With result that we all came away with presentable products and self confidence intact ! Good venue with parking charges included and discounted snack lunch option."

Nicola Tomlin reviewed: Intermediary Glass fusing workshop with Laura Hart of Hart Glass

"Thankyou very much Laura for a wonderful day. Something I've never thought of doing and unless a friend had invited me would never have experienced it. We were given guidance for every aspect of glass work and although I found it daunting to begin with, and had a fear of making massive mistakes, I loved every second and the time went so quickly.I was also thrilled with what I achieved in a very short time. Great lunch too. Thankyou so much for a brilliant day."

"I spent the day wood turning with Stephen, in the morning spun a small bowl and in the afternoon a larger bowl. Stephen has years of experience as is willing to share his skills. The studio is fantastic, lots of interesting looking wood, tools and projects. He was good at demonstrating a technique and the allowing me to do it on my own. I thoroughly enjoyed the day look forward to my next bowl."

Carol Ibbetson reviewed: Beginners Weaving with the Rigid Heddle Loom - at All in a Spin

"I had a wonderful day learning to weave in this spectacular location. I was a complete beginner but learnt so much during the day with Dunja's help. To cap it all I went home with a beautiful scarf which I have worn most days since! I have definately got the bug and after some practising at home on my newly purchased loom I would love to return to 'All in a Spin' for a more advanced course. Thanks Dunja for a really lovely day."

Jeremy reviewed: Full day leather craft workshop

"This workshop was exactly what I was looking for. Rosanna was a great teacher, was incredibly knowledgeable and allowed us to go in our own directions with the work. She created an atmosphere of fun and for £110, you come away with a couple of handmade leather items, a great day and a full stomach. I couldn't recommend enough."

Sue Harrison reviewed: Introduction to Frame Loom Weaving

"I looked at the piece of frame loom weaving I made yesterday and felt proud. Thanks to Alice's skill, patience and gentle approach, I didn't feel inept for more than a few minutes! I'm going to mount it on a larger piece of fabric and add to it; not sure what yet but I've played around with string, buttons and shells so who knows? Thank you Alice for inspiring me to try a different craft."

"A crafty Christmas present, I'd never done any weaving of any discription prior to the day. I was stunned at what we achieved in a day as a complete novice. Kate gave great support during the day and creates a really relaxed experience in her home. I went with two friends and there was another two lovely ladies on the course. The day went really fast but Kate was great at keeping us on track. Throughly enjoyed the day"

Steph reviewed: 1 Day Fused Glass for beginners workshop at The Silver Zebra studio Cheshire - Est 2004

"AMAZING!!!!! We enlisted on Deborah's 3 Day Fused glass Course as complete beginners not knowing anything about glass at all. We made 7 what I would call substantial projects as well as 11 smaller but fun projects and came away with a broad view on what Fused Glass is. We were greeted well and absolutely spoiled with amazing lunches! Deborah's wonderful Farm is also a bit of a bonus to see with their cows & chickens. The course was an absolute treat and we are already planning to return for the Next Step Course."
