"What a wonderful, inspiring day! A novice needle felter, under Denise's calm, kind and skilled instruction, I made my very own Harry Hare. Lovely setting at Bonds, with wonderful lunch and cakes. Denise is knowledgable, professional and so welcoming and friendly. With really helpful advise from initial booking, throughout the day and afterwards- she created a fun and relaxing atmosphere for a truly creative day. Thank you so much, Kay x"

"Spent a lovely day with Jo learning the basics of needle felting and having a play at creating a little dog. Really pleased with the result which is entirely down to Jo's brilliant tuition skills rather than anything to do with my ability. It's certainly made me determined to practise some more on my own and then book myself on another one of Jo's lovely courses. Would recommend everybody to give it a try."

"I had the pleasure of attending Elaine's 2 day course. What a joy! I didn't want it to end. Elaine is an inspirational teacher, very patient with total beginners (me) and extremely encouraging . The 2 days were great with plenty of time to start to develop the practical skills involved under Elaine's supportive care. I am hooked! Lovely hat knitted using the skeins of my own spun wool i took away and spinning wheel being delivered today! Thank you Elaine, you have set me on the road of a new skill and delightfully engaging new hobby."

Every stage was explained perfectly and help was given all the way through and particularly when needed. I have been on other wool craft courses but this one was the best and I came away with a beautiful scarf. I can certainly recommend not only the course, but the teacher as well, and it was well worth the long journey to be there. Lovely location and friendly atmospherein barn with logburner and excellent coffee,tea, cake and lunch! And everyone finished their animal sculpture."

Alas, I didn't produce my hoped for masterpiece - my fault for talking too much!! But I learned SO much - new techniques - lots of "tricks of the trade" and so many helpful tips which I shall find really useful for future projects. James's enthusiasm and good humour and Alison's gentle, constant encouragement make them an unbeatable team. This is one of the best courses I have ever attended. I cannot recommend it highly enough. 5* +++"

"The two of us on the course started with a block of limestone each and after two days (12hours ) of hard work we finished with very presentable garden planters with bird motifs.( Our choice). It was a thoroughly rewarding time and so stimulating that I have put in an offer on some stone tools! As a teacher Zoe was empathetic, encouraging, patient and always helpful. Lunch was included and included home made bread, soup, savoury items and puddings, which were delicious. The work was demanding in terms of concentration and both of us had aching wrists but it was most enjoyable and stimulating. Thank you Zoe for an absorbing experience which I would like to repeat, perhaps with a different stone. I'm hooked! Mike"
