"This is a very well structured course, and you'll learn loads of useful stuff, doesn't matter if you are a complete beginner or if you have some knowledge and experience already. Very enjoyable day, and left with two lovely bracelets, one copper and one silver. Recommend to everybody!"

"I attended Adrian's workshop on 20th Aug with a little apprehension and nervousness. I wasn't sure I'd be able to create anything. This changed immediately on meeting Adrian and Debbie who were the perfect hosts and put me at ease. I discovered that nothing is impossible if you have someone there, full of patience and knowledge to guide you along and give you the right encouragement. I am so proud of what I achieved and my family are impressed. I would recommend this to anyone of any age."

"Dave is an excellent teacher. I had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. He takes you through the process step by step and encourages safe and comfortable practice through a vast variety of cuts. I can't believe I managed to carve a spoon in the one afternoon! Dave is a treasure trove of useful information. He tells you the wood to collect and use, the tools available and how to sharpen and maintain them. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting to experience spoon carving. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed the stonecutting experience. There were 5 of us on the course. After an introduction to himself, the site, tools and techniques, Sebastian helped us select material for our ideas. (There are many example pieces on site to take inspiration from if necessary). Sebastian was attentive to our needs and circulated to encourage us in our progress and give technical advice. I really enjoyed chipping away at the stone and came away with a carving I am pleased with."

"Booked two of these courses - one for a friend’s birthday and the other for my sister. They both had a brilliant time and proudly showed me the work they had managed to create. Both are hooked on free-motion embroidery now, so much so that I feel I’ve missed out and will now be booking my own session! They also said Caroline was very clear in her teaching and patient with their questions. A brilliant gift idea. Highly recommend."

"The two day course was a brilliant learning experience and so much fun. Bex is a great teacher and was really friendly and helpful. I made a backpack so gorgeous I can’t believe it, having never worked with leather before. I have already booked onto another course and am hoping to make a matching weekend bag. I would encourage anyone who likes the sound of it to book on, the machines are easy to use and Bex is right there to lend a hand if you get stuck. You’ll be amazed at what you can produce!"
