A one day introduction to good beekeeping practice

X

Description

The course offers hands on access to hives and bees and is intended for novice beekeepers or non-beekeepers who are considering taking up the hobby. It is particularly relevant to new beekeepers who may have taken a theory course during Covid but have been unable to gain much practical training during the pandemic. There will be two visits to the apiary during the day interspersed with a little theory to give the background of what we are looking at. Jonathan recently retired as a Season Bee Inspector with the National Bee Unit and has 20 years of experience in beekeeping.
