A one day introduction to good beekeeping practice

The course offers hands on access to hives and bees and is intended for novice beekeepers or non-beekeepers who are considering taking up the hobby.
It is particularly relevant to new beekeepers who may have taken a theory course during Covid but have been unable to gain much practical training during the pandemic.

There will be three visits to the apiary during the day interspersed with a little theory to give the background of what we are looking at.

Your tutor has 20 years experience beekeeping, and has recently retired as a Season Bee Inspector with the National Bee Unit.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

Loan of a beesuit - if you don't have your own.
Tea/Coffee mid morning and afternoon.
Light lunch.
