Paul reviewed: Bring Your Own Upholstery Project - 1 day workshop - Week Days

"I did the one-day taster course with Sarah and thoroughly enjoyed it. I brought in a dining chair to recover and Sarah took me through the whole process from stripping down to building up the layers to the finished product. The class was a mix of experience so I could see the more advanced techniques that other students were using. Sarah was always on hand to show you the next step so no long waits while she was with another student. I'll be looking to do further training with Sarah in the near future."

Elaine reviewed: Mother and Daughter Special One Day Workshop £75pp

"My daughters and I had an absolutely fantastic time. Only three years later than my first enquiry, covid! Allison is a lovely friendly lady and was patient with us, me especially. We made some lovely products which I can assure you are in full use. We even got to meet one of their beautiful dogs, (by our choice) I fully recommend this course, only downside is it goes too quickly. Thank you Allison hope to see you soon. "

Ash Higgins reviewed: One day welding course: an introduction

"Julian is a lovely man, such a wealth of knowledge and his sole aim is to pass on that wisdom to his students. I found the theory and demonstrations hugely helpful to understand the core concepts and once I was ready Julian was patient enough to allow me several attempts to perfect the weld. His methods for teaching are second to none, whether it be MIG OR stick, and whatever you are expecting to gain from this course, by the end of the day you will have achieved your goals. Thank you Julian for a genuinely fantastic day, you have dispelled myths, grown my confidence and furnished me with a sound understanding of what it is to weld. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who would like to fundamentally understand and then apply knowledge of welding in a practical setting. "

Julian Wadsworth - Artist Blacksmith responded:

"Thankyou Ash, I am really happy that you found the instruction so comprehensive. Come back to me if you need any advice on welding or any machines that you fancy buying.Good luck with your projects. Many thanks,Julian"

Marianne Gibson reviewed: Make your own contemporary sinamay halo headpiece - online

"I had a fantastic experience learning to construct the Sinamay Halo Headpiece online with Margaret Woodliff. She put our schedules together and came up with a time we could meet one-to-one to overcome an eight hour time zone gap. It was a well thought out and professionally taught class. Margaret is patient and amiable but still caught every detail of how my work was coming along to assure a positive and delightful outcome. I had high hopes and she exceeded them all! She spent a little time showing me the versatility of the headpiece through various models she had created and each piece could be showcased. I feel very fortunate to have come across the Craft Courses platform. I’m especially grateful to Margaret for the time she set aside for me, for her delightful personality and for the excellent skills and talent she shared with me. "

Margaret Woodliff Wright Millinery responded:

"Thank you very much Marianne for such a lovely review. It was a pleasure both to meet you and to teach you the online course. Happy Hatting! Margaret "
