One to One Online Creative Peer Mentoring Sessions

Mark Making

Friendly, informal 1:1 creative peer critiques and mentoring sessions, offering advice and guidance around exploration and development of ideas and how to embark on a new creative process.

As Makers we often find ourselves creating, experimenting with processes or developing ideas in isolation. This is valuable thinking time and a space to create. However, working this way means we miss out on interaction with other like minded people and peers and the ability to share critiques, advice and give & receive feedback. This isolation has come into sharper focus in the six months when we've been unable to join courses or meet with other artists and designers. Many of us have had to pause, reassess and re evaluate priorities.

In response to this I am offering 1:1 online mentoring and friendly critiques. An opportunity to discuss and obtain feedback and regain a focus for your own work, whether for a new product range or collection, a specific piece of work, Continued Professional Development or a more general exploration of ideas and how to develop them.

Working as a textile designer maker from my studio in Hampshire, I create capsule collections of luxury scarves, interior accessories and art textile pieces, specialising in print, dye and stitch processes, with a particular focus on creating layers and texture within each piece of work.

I run 1:1 and small group workshops for all abilities in the relaxed and friendly environment of my studio.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
