About the Course

In this workshop you will create your very own freemotion machine embroidered house/venue portrait. I'll guide you though the different stages from tracing a photograph of your chosen building, right the way through to stitching, then framing it up. We can add pops of colour to your portrait with appliqued fabric and if you want to add flowers I'll talk you through some basic hand stitches so you can have French not flowers and chain stitch leaves.

This course would best suit people that have done freemotion machine embroidery before (like my beginners workshop!)

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

You will need to bring your own sewing machines, please make sure you can drop the feed dogs and have the correct embroidery foot for your model of machine. If you do not have a machine there are a couple available to hire on the day.

All other materials are included in the price and hoops are available to borrow. Tea and coffee is provided. As this is only a 5 hour workshop (10 am - 3pm) please bring a light lunch with you or there is a café nearby.
