"I did the silver earrings half day course. We were shown lots of techniques and got to practice on aluminium before deciding on what silver earrings to make. Felt really relaxed and was really pleased with my earrings. Can't believe we got through so much in a morning without feeling rushed! Would definitely recommend this as a treat or gift and an intro to jewellery making."

"Oh for more Sundays like this! Jules was friendly, welcoming, extremely knowledgeable, creative and a patient teacher. The workshop is extremely well equipped and comfortable. We started with a practice ring and got used to techniques and tools, then after lunch we started our final silver rings. It was fun, fiddly and fabulously satisfying. I am so proud of the finished result and am looking for excuses to go back and make something else. I’m hoping to bring my 13yo son next time. Thank you so much Budgie Galore!"

"I’ve now been to many of Ghia’s courses, both Tiffany method copper foil & glass mosaic. I’m now completely & utterly hooked to glass thanks to Ghia's excellent teaching. The groups have a good mix of people & it’s always a friendly atmosphere & excellent lunch provided. I have a tendency to arrive at the workshops with big ideas but limited know-how, but Ghia goes out of her way, above & beyond, to help you create your masterpiece. She is very enthusiastic & has a real love & knowledge of the subject. She is also generous in providing further advice & support in being able to buy correct/best equipment to carry on creating on your own away from her workshops. I cannot recommend Ghia’s workshops enough! Give them a go & you’ll soon be hooked too."

"Great course, Adam took us through Celtic knot principles and then led us into the development of the complex DaVinci and Durer knots so we could see how to analyse further patterns after the course. Adam teaches at a great pace and is very patient with all our questions!"

"Ann’s mosaic classes are first class. She is inspirational, very patient and helpful, as is her husband Will. After my first course, I just had to go back and with the help of Ann created several mosaic tables. She is particularly good with children. Three of my grandchildren have visited her twice during their summer holidays. They loved making a seahorse, toadstools and coasters, which have pride of place in their bedrooms. We all recommend Ann and her mosaic courses."

I can't believe what we achieved in such a short time - I put it down to the beautiful environment, the fabulous teaching, the wonderful food and the overwhelming CUTENESS of the animals we were making! "Went to an intro class and made a pendant, then returned to do the kiln carving. Naomi is fun, relaxed and friendly. We got loads done in the time - I finished 2 pieces. I really love this method, it has given me a very interesting pair of glass ornaments to put in my windows! Would recommend for a nice absorbing few hours, but it is best if you go along with some ideas before you start."
